Excellent response from passengers for Railway Ticket Reservation Mobile Van

Various remedial measures by Central Railway for Reserved and Unreserved Tickets

               Nashik: 5th September: The travel for the devotees to and from Nashik-Trambakeshwar for Simhastha Kumbhamela is going to be much smoother and comfortable. For Railway Ticket Mobile Vans have been placed in the service at four locations in the city so that the devotees can comfortably book their journey with reservations.  The reservations from these mobile vans have been receiving response from the devotees. The Central Railway has implemented a number of measures so that passengers are provided with reserved and un-reserved tickets easier and faster. 
    The first such major event (Parvani) took place recently at Nashik-Trimbakeshwar. With a view to make the reserved and unreserved railway tickets easily available to passengers for travel from the city these measures have been implemented by Commercial Department of the Central Railway. ‘Railway Ticket Reservation Mobile Van’ is a part of these measures and has been quite popular with the passengers due to convenience.
Daily Time table for ‘Railway Ticket Reservation Mobile Van’

§ Sadhugram – 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.
§ Panchavati - 12.00 Noon to 2 p.m.
§ Nimani Bus Stand – 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.
§ Mela Bus Stand – 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.

          From 28th August 2015 the ‘Railway Ticket Reservation Mobile Van’ is running in the city at locations such as Sadhugram, Panchvati, Nimani and Mela Bus Depot. Equipped with Internet linked Computers, essential software, printers, as well as battery back up the Railway booking staff is placed at the service of devotees. The passengers can reserve for any destination in India through this mobile facility. Officers from the Central railway said that as all types of quota reservations and concessional ones such as senior citizen, handicapped, Tatkal and others are also available from the Mobile Van there is a very positive response from the devotees. The ‘Railway Ticket Reservation Mobile Van’ will be active in the city till 30th September 2015.
Four Ticket Windows at Trimbakeshwar:
          Just as for Nashik, the facilities for a Railway ticket Reservation Center has been activated near Old Bus Stand at Trimbakeshwar with TWO ticket windows for the devotees arriving here. Apart from this TWO ticket windows for general tickets have also been activated. The response from the devotees is excellent.
Additional Ticket Windows at Nashik Road, Deolali,Odha Railway Stations
          With a view that an unreserved (general) ticket should be easily available to the devotees 3 new ticket windows have been opened in addition to the present 7 windows. 4 of these are at Sinnar side of the Station. The Goods Shed area where the devotees are going to stay 15 windows have been placed for general tickets and one for Reservations with 2 Enquiry counters. 2 Counters have been opened in Subhash Chowk area also.
          4 new counters have been started in addition to the present 4 Reservation Counters at Nashik Road Reservation Center. Nashik Road Railway Station has been provided the facility of 3 Automatic Ticket Vending Machines. In addition to the present single counter, 2 additional counters each have been opened at Odha and Deolali Railway Stations. In addition to the 2 Reservation windows at Deolali an additional window has been opened. 4 Janata Ticket Booking Sevaks are also available at Nashik City.
